In addition to our mid-year Annual Meeting, for members only, where we conduct official coalition business such as announce board elections and strategic plans, SFCDC hosts two coalition assemblies each year to gather our members, partners, and stakeholders for key updates. These public meetings are typically held in-person and provide a great networking opportunity to meet new members, reconnect with existing colleagues, and learn more about the latest coalition programs. Prospective members are encouraged to attend for an inside look into the value of membership.
The Spring Assembly is held in early March to serve as a preview of the new year. The newly published annual report is presented as well as highlights for new activity to come. We also review key updates from the legislation session and provide an opportunity for members to share announcements about their respective programs and initiatives. The Fall Assembly is held in early October and serves as a recap of progress year-to-date. Any new strategic initiatives for the coalition following the annual meeting are presented as well as a review of any changes in affect following legislative session.
