| Advocacy is at the heart of what we do--we advocate on behalf of low-to-moderate income (LMI) residents and small business owners to create and innovate equitable, accessible, and sustainable solutions. Through public education, public policy, and other campaigns, we are raising awareness of the sharpest intersections Our Coalition's advocates and affiliate organizations work together in many ways to ensure that under-resourced neighborhoods have equitable housing and economic opportunities in communities throughout South Florida. SFCDC plays an important and unique role in our ecosystem as a regional intermediary in providing a cross-sectoral platform for local nonprofits and mission-driven for-profits to discuss their policy needs. We advocate at the local and state level on those interconnected needs on their behalf while keeping them abreast on the latest impact of federal regulations and resources. |
