Each year we bring together our members, partners, and friends to celebrate Excellence in Community and Economic Development. This special occasion highlights leaders and impact in our local field. In 2024 we look forward to our 8th annual awards ceremony.
We host several members-only gatherings throughout the year where we conduct official coalition business such as announce board elections, strategic plans, and voting on our advocacy agenda. These meetings are typically held in-person and provide a great networking opportunity to meet new members, reconnect with existing colleagues, and learn more about the latest coalition programs, initiatives, and impact.
Facilitating connections across our vast ecosystem of practitioners and stakeholders is a key priority for our coalition. That is why we dedicate quarterly networking receptions featuring our members and partners through engaging activations. We provide an opportunity to meet new colleagues within the field and a platform to explore trending topics impacting community and economic development. These gatherings are complimentary for members and ticketed for guests. Visit our coalition events to register for our next one to see for yourself. If you are interested in partnering with us to co-host or sponsor a future reception, please contact us at info@sfcdcoalition.org.
Our Policy Roundtables are virtual gatherings held quarterly to review the latest local trends, updates, and issues regarding our three focal advocacy areas: housing affordability, small business retention, and community resilience. These roundtables are held as a series, and we encourage our members to attend all or as many as possible to engage in deeper intersectional analysis of how we can promote comprehensive solutions and policy change. Each convening is facilitated by our Policy Committee comprised of coalition members.
