Q4 Housing Affordability Policy Roundtable

As the final Housing Affordability Policy Roundtable for 2022, the format for this roundtable will be different from the previous roundtables where a panel of presenters shared information on affordable housing policies at a federal, state and local level, and where these presentations were followed by group conversations. 

This roundtable will feature a panel of local affordable housing advocates who will help lead a discussion of affordable housing policy issues as a means of drilling down on what the housing policy advocacy priorities need to be for the Coalition going into 2023. 

Panelists include SFCDC Members:

• John Little, former Director of Community Development at Legal Services of Greater Miami and Adjunct Law Professor at FIU

• Kimberly Henderson, CEO and President of Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida

• Annie Lord, Executive Director of Miami Homes for All

• Zaina Alsous, Organizing Director at the Miami Workers Center

As a coalition, we need you to be part of the continued conversation whereby we collectively identify the issues and policies that are barriers to creating and preserving affordable housing in Miami-Dade County.  This exciting conversation is a key step to establishing our policy advocacy agenda for 2023 - one that we can all support - united in vision and voice.
