Economic Policy Roundtable

Our policy roundtables focus on three issue areas and the intersections between them: 1) housing affordability, 2) economic mobility and stability, and 3) community and environmental resiliency. As we cycle through each quarterly convening we build upon the last engagement to strengthen our collective advocacy agenda for comprehensive community development.

This Q2 convening will explore systemic issues and policies and their effect on economic justice and opportunities on Miami-Dade’s small businesses, predominantly in Black communities. The format for this initial economic policy roundtable includes an overview from leaders and advocates at state and local levels to create a framework to facilitate discussion for effective policy and action. See roundtable agenda here.
